The Eastbourne Arts Circle will be holding its winter coffee morning on Saturday 22nd January 2022. at 11am.
It will be held at Manor Barn, 8 Manor Way, Ratton, Eastbourne BN20 9BN, by kind permission of our vice-chairman, Mrs Elizabeth Muir-Lewis and her husband Terry.
The coffee morning will be a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones, and make suggestions to committee members, of subjects for future events. We will be offering you a musical surprise at this event.
There is no charge for entry, however we ask for a small donation for food and drink consumed at the event.
Whilst there is no charge, we need to know how many members are coming. If you are booking tickets for events, there is a space to book tickets for the coffee morning, on the booking form that you can download from any of the events pages which still have tickets available and are not sold out. If you just want to come to the coffee morning please contact Sir Philip Anson (01323 411906). Best time to ring him, as he is busy person, is after 5pm weekdays or any time weekends.
Due to the building work at the Towner Art Callery, the Eastbourne Arts Circle is moving most of our lectures until April 2022 to the Locker Room in the Devonshire Park Tennis Centre, which is approx 100 yards from the front door of the Towner. A Map is shown above. Some of our lectures will continue on Zoom to assist those members who have difficulties getting out of the house, or where the lecturer lives a long way away from Eastbourne.
The most recent edition of the Eastbourne Arts Circle magazine was posted at the end of November to members, and a copy can be downloaded here.

Following consultation with the management team at the Towner Art Gallery and the Locker Room, Devonshire Park Tennis Center, the Eastbourne Arts Circle has agreed that we will continue to operate the following Covid-19 precautions
Members are aware that there is still a risk from the Covid-19 pandemic, and despite the national relaxation of the rules, the Eastbourne Arts Circle is taking the following measures to protect you.
- We will be limiting the total number of people admitted to the auditorium for a lecture to approx. 50. If you will not be attending a booked lecture, please let Sir Philip know, so he can allow members on the waiting list to participate.
- Face masks may be no longer obligatory; however, we and the Towner would prefer if our audiences used them while in the building.
