Coronavirus Update – November 2020

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

All members will be aware that the Eastbourne Arts Circle has not been able to put on our normal lecture series  since April 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent restrictions imposed on Art Galleries by the government.

I am writing to let all members know that, later in November 2020, we sent out copies our Winter 2020 edition of the Eastbourne Arts Circle magazine.  This includes details of our planned programme for Spring 2021, together with the forms for renewing your subscription for next year. We do hope that members will wish to rejoin.

With regret,  we need to let you know that due to the reduced capacity of the Towner Art Gallery Auditorium, which has been set at approx 30 people, all the events in the Spring 2021 season are now SOLD OUT. We are keeping waiting lists for each event, whom we will contact if the pandemic regulations change, allowing us a bigger audience.

We would like to remind members that we intend to present the lectures next spring in a Covid safe way, which means we will have to limit the numbers that can attend in the Towner Auditorium to approx 30 persons. Tickets will be sold on a first come – first served basis, and a waiting list will be kept of unsuccessful buyers.

However, if at any time in Jan-April, 2021, the government advises that we are not allowed to present our lectures in the Towner Gallery, we will, of course, cancel them, and credit the relevant customers. Customers paying by card will not be charged for their tickets till a few days prior to the event.
